The guesthouse is located on the north coast of Iceland, in the small seaside town of Siglufjörður.
“Retro decor in our favorite village of the trip” The Siglunes Guesthouse is truly an experience. The owners have gone to a great deal of time and expense to decorate with retro furniture and pieces. It's really a unique experience. We visited in the off season so the dining room and bar were not open but we were given a discount at a local bakery. Our third floor room with a shared bath was nicely furnished and we had plenty of room to spread out our things. The shared bath was spacious and clean.Incline Village, NV
“Very central, great manager and nice breakfast.”New Braunfels, Texas
We were met graciously by the manager/owner and shown the rooms we were to be given. We received #302 which was larger than the others. The hotel was central in the small town and within walking distance to the Harbor House Restaurant that we liked. We had a comfortable bed in a room adorned by old photos and antique looking furniture. Probably the only thing I didn't care for was the tiny sink in the bath - was really awkward to wash your face. The breakfast area was large with lots of room for guests. The breakfast served was not as extensive as some of the hotels but it was certainly adequate and well prepared. I would recommend!!!
“Best place in Iceland” Just imagine one place in the middle of the autumn night entering after watching aurora borealis in top of this fascinating village and when you close the door there´s just music, fireplace lighted, and an empty bar with ligths on...Where is Jack Nicholson hidden? BUt this is not "shining" hotel, it´s just a marvellous place to stay and share your travel experience with the hotel crew (the owner is terrific, we loved him!), two local women that show you how they live and how do they enjoy live just 30 miles south from the Polar circle. We love you.
